Congratulations, Anders (2024)

Anders spent his youth dealing with undiagnosed mental illness and getting further and further behind. When he finally got a job, a wife and a kid, everyone else had already done that, and so everyone around him had left the party.

When Anders and I shot these pictures, he looked at me at one point and went, “I don’t think you’re gonna wanna show me these photos.”
